Electrician overseas employment
Electrician overseas
employment jobs are available
with considerably higher pay than in the home US State.
Today, there are many lucrative agency opportunities
for Electricians in re-construction work in places like
Afghanistan and Iraq where many USA American companies
have won contracts for rebuilding work.
One reason for the very high offers may be due to the
security risks in such places. Those electricians who are willing to take the
risk can stand to gain a lot.
Risk apart, there are other countries which offer lucrative
employment opportunities for American qualified electricians.
These offers for electricians come from Europe and the Middle
East in particular. There are some uk European
engineer companies that are keen to employ American
certified or licensed electricians due to the training
electricians receive for certification. Many employers look at
this training as equivalent to university degrees in canada. In
the Middle East, in countries other than those affected by war
and civil conflicts, there are the oil rich sheik kingdoms that
are fast developing its infrastructure facilities. There are
many buildings for residences and commercial purposes are being
built every day. There are luxury hotels coming up more often
than in any other part of the world. Watch immigration laws
though.
These construction interview booms in the Sheik Kingdoms are
contracted to mostly American based companies. These
contractors have work openings for electricians. They pay
more than what an electrician gets in his home state together
with livening accommodation, free travel and other fringe
benefits. Working in these sites is a different experience for
an electrician. Under him there will be several other
electricians from Asian countries where the labour is cheap but
those electricians who come from there are knowledgeable and
hard working.
Apart and moving abroad from the construction sites in
the Middle East like Dubai, there are super luxury hotels which
employ resident electricians to troubleshoot. These hotels also
pay very well and are looking for electricians from the US.
Most of these offers are on a contract basis. An electrician
will be required to sign a term contract generally for a two
year period. The required visas are arranged by the
vacancy employer. If the electrician is a bachelor he is
provided with bachelor status accommodation. If married you may
be able to negotiate with the employers for a job for your
spouse in the office or as per her qualifications.
The pay is generally higher than that you get in your home
State careers. If
an electrician recruitment can serve for a couple of years
he will be able to save a considerable sum of money to return
to him home state and start his own electrical contracting
work. Singapore and Australia are excellent places to go
for electrical work also. I once read in the paper that
recruiting in Hong Kong, Libya, and Japan are fluent and high
too.
