Electricians resumes

Electricians resumes are
more demanding than the others. However, unless you write a
good resume, you will not be able to impress any would be
employer with help wanted on the door or with job search
online.
Therefore, it is better if you start writing a resume as
soon as you complete your electrician’s first examination and
save it. You can keep adding to it as time goes on and you will
be ready to send out a resume at short notice for a job
opening.
Like any other resume, you can begin with your name and
contact information which should include your postal address,
your telephone numbers and your e mail address if available.
Then you can state the objective. A sample objective of a
journeyman electrician could be “Experienced Journeyman
Electrician – Commercial / Industrial.” This can be followed
with jobs Experience. You should state step by step your
employment experience as an electrician for hot job
searches. Start with your present job as an electrician and
what is your current experience. A sample of which may be like
“Presently at XYZ Industries, Inc. Los Angeles, California
which is a Consumer Goods Industry where my task involves -
Installation, modification, maintenance, and troubleshooting
electrical and mechanical appliances, systems facilities, and
related work on electronic controls and devices.”
The next thing to state in a resume would be about your
education. You can say what schools you went to, what are the
examinations you passed at each of the schools. You may also
state the extra curricular activities that you had taken part
in for this career education such as a job site. Then you can
state your affiliations. You should start with the latest
affiliation. For example you can state “In August/2006 ABC
Skilled Trades Branch as Journeyman Electrician” and then you
earlier affiliations.
Then you come to a very important item in an electrician’s
resume. That is to state your skills. It is better if you
tabulate this in to three topics. One is the Skill Name, then
the skill level and finally the Last used / experience. A
typical example is:

Skill Level: expert
Last used / Experience: Currently used/15 years
Similarly, you can
state all your as an electrician with skill levels and
experience even include construction jobs, this is really good
for teens especially in michigan, florida, texas and
california. Then, you can give whatever additional
information that may be useful in evaluating your application
by the employer even if find a job online. For example, you can
state that you are an electrician who can work with little or
no supervision; you are computer literate and similar details
that you have not already stated in the resume but will be
